When evaluating candidates for a particular position through Alva, one of the first steps is deciding on the requirements for the profile you are looking for. This is why you choose an assessment profile, i.e., you decide on the personality traits and logical ability that is needed for the position you are hiring for.

Select assessment profile
Once you have created a job position you are asked to select an assessment profile - meaning the personality and logic ability criteria you like to evaluate the candidates against when identifying the best fit for the role. If you don't have company-specific data of what you are looking for, we recommend you to use Alva’s science-based profiles of which criteria predicts success in a few different types of roles. Please note that all candidates will take the same type of test no matter which assessment profile you choose but the profile will determine what criteria the candidates will be evaluated against.
Review and change the assessment profile
Once you have chosen your assessment profile you can review what the profile looks like by pressing “Overview of Assessment Profile”. You can change the assessment profile by pressing “Change profile” in the top right corner.
