How Does the Candidate Experience for Screening for Readiness Look Like?

Learn how the candidate experiences looks like in Screening for Readiness

Updated this week

To help you better understand what your candidates see and do, here’s a step-by-step overview of how the Screening for Readiness process looks from their perspective. This information forms the basis of what you'll later see in the screening view.

1. Accessing the task

On the Alva landing page, candidates see a dedicated section labeled "Profile and Background Information." From here, they can start the task to submit their background details.

2. Choosing how to fill out their profile

Candidates can choose from three options to provide their information:

  • Import from LinkedIn

  • Upload their CV

  • Enter information manually

3. Reviewing and editing pre-filled information

If the candidate chooses to import from LinkedIn or upload a CV, Alva will automatically extract the relevant data.

The candidate is always prompted to review and edit the pre-filled details to ensure accuracy.

4. Submitting the profile

Once they’re satisfied with their profile, the candidate completes the task and shares their information with your organization.

This profile will then appear in the Screening for Readiness view, where you can evaluate their fit for the role.
