Part 1: Obtaining an API key
Step 1
Open Settings in Alva. If you don’t see the cogwheel on your account, ask an Alva Administrator at your company or contact Alva’s Support Team.
Step 2
Go to Integrations and click Add integration.
Step 3
Click New API key.
Step 4
Name your key — for example: Pinpoint API key.
Step 5
Click Save API key. Copy it and store it somewhere secure.
Part 2: Obtaining a webhook signature
Step 1
In Settings > Integrations > Webhooks, click Create new.
Step 2
Enter this URL:
https://app.pinpointhq.com/integrations/providers/alva_labs/events
Turn off “New candidate” and “New validation test result.”
Turn on “New role fit.”
Click Save.
Step 3
Open the webhook you just created and click Information.
Step 4
Click Create signature token.
Step 5
Copy the token and save it securely.
Part 3: Setup instructions Pinpoint
Step 1
Go to Settings > Integrations.
Step 2
In the Apps tab, find Alva Labs and add it.
Step 3
In My Apps, open the Alva Labs card and paste in your API key and Webhook Signature. Click Save.
Note: Don't forget to delete any notes or documents where you stored these keys once setup is complete! 💡
Step 4
Enable the integration.
