Before You Start

If you need to resend an assessment invitation to a candidate with a different email address, you first need to remove the candidate from Alva.
This ensures that Alva can create a new connection to the updated email address when you send a new invitation from Teamtailor.

Step 1: Remove the Candidate from Alva

  1. In Alva, go to the job position where the candidate was originally invited.

  2. Open the Candidate Overview tab.

  3. Tick the box next to the candidate’s name.

  4. Click the three dots (⋮) at the top right of the page.

  5. Select Remove candidate from the menu.

⚠️ Note: Removing a candidate from Alva will:

  • Stop sharing any completed test results with your organization.

  • Delete any completed interviews.

Step 2: Update the Candidate’s Email Address in Teamtailor

  1. In Teamtailor, click on the candidate’s name to open the candidate card.

  2. Click directly on the email field to make it editable, and enter the new email address.

Step 3: Send a New Alva Assessment Invitation

  1. With the candidate card open, click on More in the black toolbar at the bottom of the page.

  2. Select Add Integrations.

  3. Click Send Assessment.

  4. Choose which tests and personality profile to include.

  5. Click Send Assessment to confirm.

The candidate will now receive a new Alva invitation linked to their updated email address.

💡 Note: If you want the test results to remain visible in Teamtailor, always send the invitation from Teamtailor - not from Alva. If you resend an invitation directly in Alva, the results will only appear in Alva and not sync back to Teamtailor.
