Signup process

The candidate will receive an activation email from Alva. They will then be asked to create their account, accept to share their Alva profile with your company and then be taken to the test page. 

The assessment process

To complete the assessments the candidate will press start and follow the instructions.

PERSONALITY ASSESSMENT:

For the personality assessment, the candidate can pause and resume the assessment as needed.

LOGIC ABILITY ASSESSMENT:

In Alva's adaptive logic test, candidates will need to use their problem solving and abstract reasoning skills to solve logical tasks. They will be presented with 20 tasks, to be solved each one in turn.

In each task, candidates are asked to identify the missing piece in a matrix of figures. The specific tasks are chosen based on the candidate's response pattern, in order to be challenging but not impossible.

There are six options to choose from. There is one, and only one correct answer to each task. The correct answer follows a logical pattern that is applied from top to bottom, and from left to right.

There is a time limit of two minutes for each task. Most people complete the test in 15-20 minutes.

Before starting the actual test, they will get two sample tasks for practice and getting used to the interface.

Assessment results

Once the candidate has completed the assessments they can review their results directly through their Alva account. They will only be able to see their own test results and not the role fit or how their score compare to the test profile. Below you will find the information shared with the candidates.
