Share with Alva Users
You can easily share the candidate assessment results with any colleague who has their own Alva account. Learn how to add a hiring team to your job position to share the results with the relevant decision makers.
Add the Hiring Team
Go to your job position and the Settings tab to add the hiring team. The hiring team will be able to access this job position and hence review the candidate assessment results. Use the drop-down menu to find your colleagues.
If you can’t find who you are looking for in the drop-down window this could be because they have not been added to Alva yet. Please see how you add a coworker to Alva HERE. Once they have been added to Alva you can add them to the hiring team to share the candidate assessment results.

You can securely share candidate results with people outside of Alva - such as hiring managers or external recruiters - by generating a shared link. This allows recipients to view the results without needing access to the Alva platform.
How to create a link
To share candidate results with someone outside of Alva, start by navigating to the relevant job. Select the candidate or candidates you want to share by ticking the checkbox next to their names. Then, click the Share candidates' results button located in the top-right corner of the screen. In the pop-up window, choose which assessments to include in the shared view. You’ll also be asked to set an expiration period for the link, which can range from 1 to 30 days. Once you’ve configured the settings, click Save & copy Link. You can then copy the link and send it through email, chat, or any other communication channel.
What recipients can see
When someone opens the link, they’ll be taken to a secure Alva page where they can view the selected candidate results directly in their browser. The results are displayed in a read-only format - no data can be downloaded or edited. If the link includes multiple candidates, the viewer will also see Alva’s comparison interface, allowing them to review candidates side by side. Access to the results is time-limited based on the expiration date you set when creating the link, helping ensure GDPR compliance and keeping candidate data secure.
Manage and update shared links
To view and manage all the links you've created for a specific job, go to the job page and open the Shared Results tab. From there, you can see a list of active links, edit their contents, or revoke access at any time.
If you need to add more candidates to an existing link, you can do so directly from this section - there’s no need to create a new link each time. This allows you to maintain a single, up-to-date link for external reviewers.
