1. Granting Lever access to the test information through the Alva website

Step 1: In Alva, go to your company Settings (1). If you don't have access to it, either ask the admin in your company or reach out on Alva's Intercom. Next click on "Integrations" (2). Then click "Add integration" (3).

Step 2: Choose Lever by clicking "Add".

Step 3: Next, click on the "Grant access " button as shown down below, you will be redirected to Lever.

Step 4: Log in with your Lever credentials.

Step 5: After logging in with your Lever credentials, you will see the following screen. Click ''Accept'' to be redirected to Alva again.

Step 6: After pressing accept you will be redirected back to this page. Now you need to copy the Webhook URL (Marked with a red line in the screenshot). It is recommended not to close this window before you are done with this guide since you will be returning to this page shortly.

2. Configuring the Alva integration from Lever

Step 1: In the Lever website, click on your profile > settings (1). Then click Integrations and API located on the left side (2). After this, scroll down until you see Alva under the heading "Assessments". Make sure Alva is toggled on as illustrated by the screenshot (3).

Step 2: Remaining on the same page, click "WEBHOOKS" (1). Paste the Webhook URL that you copied in step 6 in the previous section of the guide into the following 4 fields:

1. Application created

2. Candidate stage change

3. Candidate hired

4. Candidate deleted.

Step 3: After you're done with step 2, remain on the same page and scroll down further until you see the heading "Webhook singing token". Copy the signature token that is displayed on your screen (overlined with red).

Note: If you change the signing token in Lever by clicking "regenerate token", you need to update it in Alva for the integration to work.

Step 4: For the last step of this guide, return to the settings page in Alva. Paste the signature token that you copied from the previous step into the field "Webhook signature token" (marked with a red line). Finally, scroll down and click "Save".

Thank you for reading this guide! You have now completed the configuration and you are ready to start sending out tests using Lever. If you want information on how to send out tests using Lever click HERE.
