How to Use Alva's Jobylon integration

This article explains how to set up and use Alva assessments in Jobylon. You’ll learn how to configure assessments, automate actions in your pipeline, and enable the Role Fit score in your ATS.

Step 1: Configure assessments for a job

When you’ve created a job in Jobylon, the first step is to configure the Alva assessments you want to use.

  1. Open the job in Jobylon.

  2. Hover over the puzzle symbol.

  3. Select the assessments you want to use for this job.

  4. Complete the configuration.

💡 Tip: Add Alva assessments early in the process. This reduces bias and helps you evaluate candidates based on proven predictors of success.


Step 2: Automate with pipeline actions

Once assessments are configured, you can set up automations to make your workflow more efficient.

  • Go to the job where you added Alva assessments.

  • Navigate to Pipeline Actions.

  • Click Create Action next to the stage you want to automate.

  • Choose Partner Integrations as the action type.

  • Select which Alva assessment should be used in this stage.

Only the selected assessments will be activated. For example, if you choose a coding test, no other assessments will be sent.

Step 3: Move candidates based on results

You can also automate movement between stages based on assessment outcomes.

  • Go to Pipeline Actions.

  • Add the action Move based on score.

  • Choose the next stage you want candidates to move to when the criteria are met.

Step 4: Enable and use the Role Fit score

If you’re using multiple assessments (psychometrics, coding, or interviews), you can enable the Role Fit card in your ATS.

The Role Fit card gives you:

  • A complete view of all assessment scores.

  • An overall Role Fit score.

  • The option to add Role Fit as a column in your candidate list view.

To enable Role Fit:

  1. Reach out to Alva Support via the chat in the bottom right corner to have the Role Fit card added to your account.

  2. In Jobylon, go to Pipeline Actions > Partner Integrations in your job settings.

  3. Add Role Fit to the very first stage of the process.

Now, as soon as candidates enter the job, you’ll see their Role Fit card in the system.
