Step 1: Send psychometric tests from Jobylon
The simplest way to send Alva’s tests is by moving candidates into the stage where Alva assessments have been added as a pipeline action. When this automation is set up, test invitations are sent automatically.
⚙️ Note: For this to work, you first need to configure the automation in Jobylon.
Go to Pipeline Actions in your job position in Jobylon.
Click Create Action next to the stage you want to automate.
Choose Partner Integrations as the action type.
Select Alva Personality & Logic Test and save.
For clarity, we recommend creating a dedicated status called Alva Tests for this automation.
With this setup, tests are automatically sent whenever a candidate enters the “Alva Tests” stage.
If the automation isn’t set up, you’ll need to send the tests manually.
Select the candidates you want to send Alva tests to by ticking the boxes to the left of their names.
Click Send to Alva Personality & Logic Test.
The test invitations will be sent to all selected candidates.
Step 2: View candidate results in Jobylon
Open the relevant position.
Check your candidate list. You should see a new column showing Alva results.
If you don’t see the column:
Click the Customize list button (gear icon in the top right corner).
Select Display Alva personality & logic test.
The results column will now appear.
Reminder: If you’d like to see all assessment results combined into one view, you can enable the Role Fit card in Jobylon. Learn how in this article.
Step 3: Explore detailed results
To see more details:
Click on a candidate’s name.
In the results card you’ll see:
Overall psychometric score (in the circle).
Logic and personality test results (in collapsible sections).
Role Fit score (at the bottom, showing combined results from all assessments so far).
You can also click View detailed results to open the full report in the Alva app.
💡Remember: To view the full report in Alva, you’ll need an Alva account and access to the job position the candidate applied to.
Step 4: Resend invitations
If you need to resend a candidate’s test invitation:
Go to the results card in Jobylon.
Click the circle icon next to “View detailed results”.
💡 Note: If a candidate asks to receive their test invitation at a different email address, first update the email address on their candidate card in Jobylon. Then, resend the invitation using the steps above.
