If you have previously completed tests for one organization, you may be able to share them with new companies. If you wish to share the tests when applying for a new organization, follow the steps below or watch the short video.

You'll be able to view your results before you decided to share them, and you can choose to share only one test and retake the other.

First, accept the invitation from the company that you've just applied to. Then, click on “Go to application” and you will be able to either choose to “View and share previous results” or “Start new test”. By choosing the option “Start new test” you’ll start the test from scratch, and only the new results will be submitted for this organization. The organization will not know whether you retook the tests or submitted your previously completed tests.

Please note that once you decide to start a new test, you must complete it and you will not be able to submit your old test results.

If you can't share your previously completed test results, one of below four reasons are usually why:

Your test results are eligible to be shared for 24 months after you completed them. After 24 months your test results are no longer valid and you will have to complete new tests for your application.

In order to be able to share your rest results to new applications you must first accept our privacy policy. This means Alva will save and handle your data independently from companies you applied to. This is optional and consent can be revoked at any time.

You can accept our privacy policy by signing into your Alva account and clicking on the tab "Jobs" at the top of the screen followed by "Accept and show jobs".

Alva account are connected to a unique email address, and to be able to share your previous test results your new application must have been sent to the email address you used to complete your latest test. If you completed your previous assessment using a different email address, please reach out to the organization you applied to and ask for a new invitation to your other email address where your test are already saved.

You can only retake the test if you have been invited to do so for a new organization. If you’re applying for a new position within an organization with whom you’ve already shared your Alva results, the option to retake the tests is not available. If you wish to complete a new assessment for a organization with whom you’ve already shared your results, please reach out to the organization in question.

It’s worth noting that the same results can have different fit for different roles. Positions are setup with specified target profiles that you results are matched against. So the same results can match well for one position, but less so for another and vice versa!
