When creating a new job in SmartRecruiters, in the second step called "Details", select the "Alva Test Profile" and "Alva Test Type"

- Alva Test Profile: Here, you define which test profile you will use to evaluate candidates
- Alva Test Type: You can select if you want to send both personality &amp; logic test or either of these tests to the candidates.

1. When creating a new job in SmartRecruiters, in the second step called "Details", select the "Alva Test Profile" and "Alva Test Type"

 - Alva Test Type: You can select if you want to send both personality &amp; logic test or either of these tests to the candidates.

Once the job is saved in SmartRecruiters, it will also be automatically generated in Alva, and the hiring team associated with the job will be added to Alva as well.

Note: If you leave both fields empty when creating a job in SmartRecruiters, no job will be created in Alva. However, you can trigger a test invitation to the candidate manually or automatically (see how to send out tests below) when you have created the job. When triggering to send out a test, a job will be created in Alva.

Send out Alva's tests from SmartRecruiters

There are two different ways of triggering an assessment to be sent out to a candidate:

1. First create a hiring process by going to settings
2. Select "Hiring Process"

3. Select "Add step" in the hiring process &amp; "Test Assignment"

4. Search "Alva Psychometric test" and click save

5. Toggle on auto-triggered

6. Whenever a candidate is moved to the above step in the hiring process in a related job, the candidate will receive the Alva Labs test invites automatically ​

1. Add a candidate to the job &amp; then click on the candidate
2. Go to the "Assessments" section
3. Click “Order assessments”

4. Select “Alva Psychometric Test”

5. This will trigger an invite to the candidate. Alva Labs will then administer the test to the candidate

1. Automatically trigger an assessment

2. Manually trigger an assessment
 1. Add a candidate to the job &amp; then click on the candidate
 2. Go to the "Assessments" section
 3. Click “Order assessments”
 
 4. Select “Alva Psychometric Test”
 
 5. This will trigger an invite to the candidate. Alva Labs will then administer the test to the candidate

Note: Please make sure that you are triggering/sending your own email notice to the candidate in advance of the Alva test invitation. This is critical in order for the candidate to expect, accept, and complete the Alva assessment. Feel free to contact our support who will be happy to help with relevant candidate messaging.

When a candidate completes their test(s), their results will instantly get posted into the candidate's profile.
