Initial integration of the ATS:
To begin the integration setup, head to the integration section of your Alva account settings and select Add Integration.
You will then be required to retrieve your SmartRecruiters Client ID and Client Secret from Smartrecruiters. You can generate it yourself by:
Open the Credentials tab under the Apps & Integrations settings in SmartRecruiters.
Click on New Credential.
Select OAuth Client ID for the type and click Next.
Enter a name (e.g.,
Alva Labs) and a description for the credential.Click Generate and enter the generated SmartRecruiters Client ID and Client Secret below:
One-time setup
Before moving on, make sure to create a hiring process with a stage called "Alva Assessment", as shown below.
This is critical to be able to use the integration moving forward
