Here's a simple step-by-step guide for how to get started with Alva Interviews.
1) Decide which criteria you would like to evaluate
What is the skill, experience, competency or other information that you would like to knowledge of from the candidate?
2) Find or create the criteria in the content library
Find the criteria you want to assess in the Interview content library. Alva has provided a set of ready-to-use content that you can use immediately.
You can also create your own criteria and add to the content library. For detailed instructions on how to do so, see Creating and Managing Interview Content.

3) Create an interview template
An interview template is essentially an interview to be conducted. It is a collection of content (instructions, questions to ask etc.).

4) Add an interview template to a job position
Now that you have an interview template created, you want to assign it to a job position your hiring for.

5) Assign an Interviewer to an Interview
So you've decided what interview to conduct in a recruitment process. Now you need to assign the job of conducting the interview to a person.

6) Conduct the Interview
Once it is time to conduct the interview, the interviewer will have access to instructions, questions to asks, note-taking and rating in the Alva app.

7) Review the Interview Results
Once the interview has been conducted and the interviewer has published their ratings and notes, it will be available to other relevant users with the applicable access rights.
